We are a small family run business, based in Blandford forum, north Dorset

McAdam specialist polishing was started in 2018 by Matt McAdam, a polisher with an exceptional eye for detail. He started polishing car and bike parts for a company in Kent when he left school. After being employed but a few companies including stainless fabrication shops and process engineering companies and honing his skills, he was employed by a silversmiths in Kent, where he found his real passion for polishing, working on world sporting trophies, silver and gold ware for the rich and famous, and high-end luxury items. He then went on to polish watches, directly for Rolex and Breitling.

In 2016, he moved with his partner to Dorset, where he worked for a luxury lighting and furniture designer and a couple of fabrication companies before starting McAdam specialist polishing in 2018.

The reason I set up this company is to show what quality metal polishing can be like - where others will rush the job through for easy money we like to finish the job properly.
